Except, there's no way he could have been elected. Mitt Romney isn't a whole lot better, socially, at least, but he stands a chance just because he presents as more moderate!

DeleteI would certainly hope the likes of Santorum would be unelectable, given his policies, but I still feel better that he's not going to be around even as an outside option - after all, many people said Thatcher was unelectable in this country, but she still managed to dupe the people and wreak havoc for over a decade.
As I said to Randy, I'm still here, but that's about as far as it goes. The family are OK, though, I think, given that I haven't seen much of them recently, and don't expect to for the rest of this month. I hope things are going well for you, as your holiday approaches.
