People come, and people go, that is an inevitable part of life. But when a very good friend goes, far too soon, by his own hand, it's really hard to take. R.I,P., Jay, I'm going to miss you. So much.

I've just seen the sad news. I never knew Jay, but had been reading his comments here, and had read some of his blog posts. I'm at a complete loss as to know what to say. I know nothing of the circumstances that led him to take his own life. Although a stranger myself, my thoughts are with his family, and loved ones, and those who knew him as they come to terms with this tragic loss. May he rest in peace.

DeleteI know, in general terms, at least, why Jay did what he did, and, as far as I'm concerned, he's another victim of the haters, as much as the gay teens we read about all too often. He was a very good friend to me, and to many, many others. The world is the poorer, by far, as a result of what happened yesterday.
