This story has to qualify as one of the most depressingly appalling things I've ever come across. And I'll bet a million pounds to a pinch of shit that the 'child-nutrition manager' self-identifies as religious. Just when you think the right can't stoop any lower, they immediately prove you wrong.

Pretty damn stupid people. The school district is properly being excoriated, and has suspended the persons involved. What f-ing idiots.

DeleteI'll be willing to bet quite a lot that they've only been suspended because of the bad PR, though, rather than through any great 'moral' objection to what was actually done. This is what happens when people mistake ideology for politics.
