If any religionist ever tries to claim moral authority, still less superiority, ask them how their imaginary 'god' could condone this. And if any Christians are tempted to say 'we would never do such a thing', I suggest they read the Old Testament. 'Barbarism' doesn't even begin to describe this sort of event.

It amazes me how violent so many "peaceful" religions are. They whine about how "we're peaceful and loving" yet they do nothing about things like this. What assholes.

DeleteI guess we go back to the 'for evil to triumph, it takes good people to do nothing' syndrome. If anyone, of any religion, thinks they can justify what was done to this young woman, though, I'd be interested to hear their rationale. But, even then, I still wouldn't agree with them.
