Hello Jay This thought came to mind, not because of me thinking about me, but because of a conversation I overheard in the pub earlier, between three twenty-something males who seemed to be falling over themselves to prove their machismo to each other. There is, on reflection, a self-referential element, and one that came up in conversation with my brother and sister-in-law last night, but I still think that 'style over substance' is all that matters in contemporary society.
I don't know about this statement. The world can (and sometimes, perhaps usually) be wrong, since the world cannot truly know you.
