Even more than usual, this blog has been an unmitigated tale of woe of late. There's no reason why I should expect anyone to have to read about my troubles day after day, so there may be a hiatus, unless I can find something more upbeat, or, at the very least, something more interesting, to write about. Please don't hold your collective breath, I wouldn't want to induce hypoxia in anyone.

Sammy, we come back and read because we want to be supportive to one of our own. Not because we expect every post to be bells and "yay me" and all that. Certainly if blogging is not fulfilling your desires and wishes for it, take that hiatus, but don't stop on our account.

ReplyDeleteI really appreciate your concern and support. I think, on reflection, my wanting to follow the 'If you can't say something nice, say nothing' adage at the moment is that my life seems to be such heavy going, so that coming here and writing about it as well probably constitutes 'wallowing' in my discontent. Given my previous record, though, I doubt that it will be long before I'm back to moaning and groaning as per usual. In the meantime, I'll still post if I feel I've got something worth saying, but perhaps not about my own situation so much.
