Organised religion, that is. We want you to be as stupid as us, and if you won't submit to our stupidity, we'll kill you. And enforce a 'policy' that will inevitably kill or cripple many others into the bargain. Vile and unforgivable.

But committed by ignorant assholes with no education at all. They're so damn stupid they wouldn't know why they were being banned. The only advantage of this is that it's hard to walk or drive a suicide bomb anywhere when you're crippled with polio. Who will these nuts get to carry out the jihad when they're all unable to walk?!

DeleteJust another example of the barbarity organised religion, of whatever flavour, seems to find irresistible. If we can't persuade you, and, increasingly, they can't, as educational standards improve, we'll impose it on you by force, up to and including lethal force. Private, personal belief, that's purely an individual's business, but religious belief as a basis for any society is, at best, irrational, and, at worst, spawns insanities like this incident, as far as I'm concerned.
