He must be out there somewhere, the one I can love and cherish, the one I can help to educate, help to grow, the one I can spoil, the one I can give pleasure to beyond anything he could have imagined. He must be out there somewhere. Waiting.

ReplyDeleteWith all due respect, I know more than enough about the unlikeliness - I've been living with that for 30-odd years. But there is a place outside my 'imagination' where relationships like the one I want exist - after all, I was in one, albeit sexless, for several years. I'm not talking about preying on innocents, but about reciprocity, something mutually beneficial. If you don't think such a thing is possible, well, that's your opinion. I believe it can be found. I just don't know where.
