The motto of my old school - 'Let there be light'. And there is, for the moment at least, two and a bit hours on, although I overheard one of the workmen saying he didn't know whether it would hold. Sounds like my fragile mood at the moment, too.
Love & best wishes to all

Hi there, Sammy
ReplyDeleteI hope that the light will hold, in your "hobbit hole", and in your life in general. Today's post to Cuckoos didn't sound at all happy.
*hugs*
Mark
Hello Mark
ReplyDeleteThe lights are still on, literally and figuratively. The 'Cuckoos' post did come from a less than cheery place, but it is fictionalised, hence it being there rather than here. A reflection of a mood, not necessarily a plan of action. Thank you, as ever, for your care and support.
Love & best wishes

Hang in there, Sammy, Friday is coming! (Does that even make sense?)
ReplyDeleteI woke up once to an explosion as the power went out. They fixed it, sorta. It kept going out every few months until it finally exploded once again. Then they fixed it for good - months now with no outages (except last Sunday when the fuse caught on fire - soooo pretty).
You could do what I do when the power goes out - I find a window to sit beside and read and listen to my iPod...and if it's night, I go to a local bookstore and sit there and read! (I hate bars so I tend to not go there to drink and watch the telly!)
Peace <3
Jay
Hello Jay
ReplyDeleteYes, the weekend impends, and I'll be staying at my brother's next week, all being well, so hopefully there'll be fewer dramas, internal or external.
Love & best wishes
